Celebrating the sandwich!

SUBWAY® restaurants in New Zealand celebrated World Sandwich Day on Tuesday 3 November in the only appropriate way – by handing out free subs!

But instead of the usual SUBWAY 6-INCH® or SUBWAY FOOT LONG® subs, we went the extra mile (or feet in this case) and hand delivered Giant Subs to radio stations and television networks around Auckland.

Breakfast radio jocks, renowned for their non-stop talking, were speechless when the Giant Subs arrived! Word quickly spread across the airwaves from The Edge, Classic Hits, ZM, Radio Sport, Newstalk ZB, Breeze,
More FM and Flava that SUBWAY® restaurants were celebrating World Sandwich Day.

Out on the road the ZM Thunder Trucks, More FM More By 4s and The Edge Road Runners were loaded up with goodies including SUBCARD® giveaways and SUBWAY® catering platters for people on the street.

And to wrap up World Sandwich Day, SUBWAY® catering platters were delivered to the Auckland City Mission.
